BATON ROUGE — Two right lanes on westbound I-12 were briefly blocked before Airline Highway at exits 2A and 2B following a crash on Wednesday.

The crash has since been cleared and the roadway has reopened.

Traffic was backed up to Range Avenue/Highway 3002 near Denham Springs at exit 10, with delays reaching 30 minutes.

AMELIA — La. 182 in Amelia was briefly closed Tuesday morning after a crash, officials said.

The crash, first reported just after 7 a.m., happened near the Sunoco gas station along the state highway. By 8 a.m., the roadway reopened. 

An Acadian Ambulance spokesperson told WBRZ that no one was taken to the hospital as a result of the crash.

BATON ROUGE — South River Road between Oklahoma and Haig streets is closed through Friday evening as crews work to restore the street's asphalt and conduct emergency sewage repairs.

According to Baton Rouge public works officials, the closure started on Wednesday and continues through Friday. The full closure will occur during the day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Officials added that there is a detour from Oklahoma Street to West McKinley Street.
