BATON ROUGE — The two right lanes of I-110 South past Chippewa Street are closed after a crash. 

The crash was first reported around 7:43 a.m. on Wednesday. 

As a result of the crash, the sole lane of traffic is congested past Dayton Street. 

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the crash.

ST. GEORGE — Starting Monday, a stretch of Tiger Bend Road in St. George will be closed as crews trim trees near overhead power lines. 

Tiger Bend Road between Jones Creek and 7262 South Tiger Bend Road will be closed until Oct. 29. 

Crews with BDG Trees will be trimming branches that are in the way of Entergy's power lines. 

Local traffic will be allowed through to get to properties located within the closure limits, crews said.

MAUREPAS — A Friday morning crash along La. 16 between Old Ferry Road and La. 22 resulted in three people being hurt, Acadian Ambulance officials said.

Acadian said that the two units responded and brought the three people to a nearby hospital.

The crash was first reported around 7 a.m. and caused a complete road blockage in Maurepas. By 9 a.m., the roadway reopened.

CENTRAL — Lovett Road near Bronco Avenue in Central re-opened after a crash that left one injured.

The crash happened around 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, a Central government alert says. By 1:55 p.m., one direction of traffic was open, and officials said that Lovett Road re-opened around 2:13 p.m.

Officials told WBRZ that one person was transported via ambulance with minor injuries.

MAUREPAS — On Friday and Saturday, DEMCO will be conducting maintenance and trimming trees alongside power lines and roadways in Livingston Parish. 

As a result, there will be temporary roadway shutdowns along La. 22 near Linda's Haven Road and Magnolia Bluff Road in Killian, as well as along Bear Island Road in Maurepas and along La. 444 near Pete's Landing in Lower Livingston.

FRANKLIN — The La. 322 Sterling Bridge over Bayou Teche in Franklin will be closed through 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. 

The closure started at 8:30 a.m. and is being done to allow crews to perform routine maintenance and repairs.

BATON ROUGE — A stalled vehicle is blocking the two right lanes on eastbound I-10.

The blockage, which was first reported around 6 a.m., is between the Dalrymple Drive/LSU exit and the Perkins Road exit.

ST. FRANCISVILLE — Crews in St. Francisville are working on several erosion and drainage projects throughout the town, with one along Ferdinand Street starting Monday. 

Ferdinand Street will be closed during daytime hours between Johnson and Royal streets, as well as Royal Street at Sewell Street, through Nov. 2. 

A detour will be provided for local traffic traveling to Royal Street at Johnson Street.

BATON ROUGE — A portion of Perkins Road will be closed for several weeks starting Wednesday.

The closure, between Kleinert and Terrace avenues on Perkins, is being done to allow for power pole replacement. 

The closure starts Wednesday at 8 a.m. and will last through Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.

A detour will be available by taking Kleinert Avenue to Camelia Avenue before going onto Terrace Avenue.
