BATON ROUGE — Dust off your crowns and channel your inner noble knight or regal princess at the Knock Knock Children's Museum's grown-up gala. 

The "Storybook Soirée" is on Oct. 8, inspired by the stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The event is one of the museum's most critical fundraisers, raising 50% of the museum's budget through donations and events like Storybook Soirée.

Attendees are encouraged to wear cocktail attire or costumes to raise money for museum initiatives and improvements to the museum itself. 

The event kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m. at the museum on Dalrymple Drive.
