PLAQUEMINE — Blighted property assessments in unincorporated areas throughout Iberville Parish started Monday. 

The South Central Planning and Development Commission says that survey teams will travel through neighborhoods from Monday through Nov. 16 to document property conditions. 

The assessment is for documentation and planning purposes only. Survey teams will not conduct property inspections or enforcement activities at this time.
