BATON ROUGE — The Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership spotlighted its final year of its five-year strategic regional plan BRING IT! at its annual meeting on Wednesday. 

BRING IT!, launched in 2021 with the goal of enhancing the communities in and around Baton Rouge. The Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership, formerly the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, serves as the regional economic development organization for Louisiana’s nine-parish Capital Region. 

The meeting, presented by Kean Miller, was held at L'Auberge Casino & Hotel from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attendees heard from Partnership board chairs as well as other prominent speakers. 

Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan Bourgeois and board chair Jayson Newell spoke on some of the projects, industries and advantages driving the state and region's economic future.
