BAYOU BLUE — Two men were arrested and a third was taken into custody after detectives recovered stolen materials from a home in the Bayou Blue area, according to Sheriff Brett Stassi.

The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office received a report of stolen materials in the area. Detectives investigated and obtained a search warrant for the residence of Elgin Floyd.

When detectives executed the warrant, they recovered items that had been reported stolen.

Floyd, 46, was arrested and booked into the Iberville Parish Jail on felony theft, illegal possession of stolen things and obstruction of justice charges.

William Edwards, Jr., 43, was also arrested and booked into the jail on felony theft and illegal possession of stolen things charges.

A third man, Trent Tullier, 43, was found hiding inside the residence and was arrested on outstanding warrants.
