It's almost time to go Back 2 School, which means there will be several supply giveaways and donation drives in the coming weeks to make sure every child is ready for their bell to ring. Here's a list of supply drives:

Ascension Parish

Aug. 2:
Ascension Youth Fest at the Wag Center in Donaldsonville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Back-to-School Bash at Tanger Outlets from 1 to 3 p.m.

East Baton Rouge Parish

Aug. 2:
Back to School Giveaway at Gus Young Park from noon to 2:30 p.m.
Back to School Bash at Naim Drive Park from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Back to School Supply Giveaway at Greater Mt. Canaan Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Roll and Bowl Back to School Bash at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee of Zachary Back to School Supply Giveaway at Zachary High School gym from 10 a.m. until supplies last
Back to School Giveaway at the Leo S. Butler Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Aug. 5: 
School Supplies distribution at LaSalle Elementary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Aug. 6:
School Supplies distribution at Wildwood Elementary from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

Aug. 16:
Back to School Giveaway and Resource Fair at Greater Philadelphia Baptist Church in Zachary from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Livingston Parish

Aug. 1:
The 25th annual Assess the Need program will be held Aug. 1-2 and Aug. 8-9 at Cain’s Family Markets in Albany, Livingston and Springfield; Carter’s Supermarkets at Hatchell Lane in Denham Springs, Vincent Road in Denham Springs and Walker; Oak Point Fresh Market in Watson; Village Markets in Port Vincent, White Hall and Head of Island. Volunteers will be at the stores from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the two Fridays, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the two Saturdays. Supplies will be distributed to schools on Aug. 6, prior to the first day of classes on Aug. 8.

Tangipahoa Parish

Aug. 1:
Back to School Bash at Hammond Westside Montessori from 9 a.m. to noon.

Aug. 2:
Back to School Bash at 19325 Hipark Boulevard in Hammond from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Back to School Supply Giveaway at 115 W. Chestnut Center in Amite from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

West Baton Rouge Parish

Aug. 2:
School Supply Drive Giveaway at Drive-Thru Pickup at the Port Allen Police Department from 10 a.m. until supplies last
