PORT ALLEN – Starting Wednesday, crews will be conducting pavement testing on portions of I-10 and La. 415 in West Baton Rouge Parish, resulting in intermittent lane closures.

Work in the areas will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Oct. 14. The work is being done on the I-10 entrance and exit ramps at La. 415 and along La. 415 from I-10 to Sharlot Road.

Motorists can expect lane closures, as well as flagging operations as needed for small, temporary work areas, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development officials said.

Lane closures connected to similar pavement testing along La. 1 will continue for approximately another week, DOTD noted.
