BATON ROUGE — The Southern University Jaguars are 1-1 under head coach Marshall Faulk following a 34-15 home win against Kentucky State. 

This weekend, the Jags return to the road to face the Houston Cougars in Texas, themselves fresh off a Week One win over Oregon State. 

Ahead of Saturday's 6 p.m. game, coach Faulk and the team are practicing as the new era of Jaguar football continues.

Faulk was originally set to speak to the media on these preparations and reflect on his first win as head coach after practice on Tuesday, but the news conference was postponed to Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. due to ongoing power issues on Southern's campus.
