Trick-or-treating times announced for parishes
BATON ROUGE - Officials have announced trick-or-treat times for residents for Halloween. Some areas for trick-or-treating may be closed due to repairs still be conducted or debris still being picked up since the August flood.
The following are the times for trick-or-treating on Tuesday, Oct. 31.:

Ascension Parish- 6 to 8pm
Donaldsonville- 6 to 8pm
Gonzales- 6 to 8pm
Sorrento- 6 to 8pm
Livingston Parish- 6 to 8pm
Denham Springs- 6 to 8pm
Walker- 6 to 8pm.
Pendarvis Lane, Bryan Park Drive, and Magnolia Drive will be closed to the public during this time on Monday, October 31st in order to protect the homes, streets, and subdivisions that have been affected by the flood. Trick-or-treating and private gatherings amongst residents are allowed. All other areas of the city will be open for trick-or-treating.
