BATON ROUGE - LSU head basketball Coach Will Wade spoke Wednesday, giving media members and fans updates on the team's practice a month out from the beginning of the season. 

Wade's news conference began at 1 p.m.

The LSU men's basketball team returns to the court with an Oct. 2 exhibition against McNeese State, where Wade previously coached after being fired from LSU in 2022, in Lake Charles. The season properly starts on Nov. 3 against the recently renamed LSU New Orleans.
