Central takes down Denham Springs in the Amite River Rivalry

CENTRAL - The Central Wildcats took down the Denham Springs Yellowjackets 41-20 in the annual Amite River Rivalry.
Denham Springs started strong. While trailing 3-0 in the first quarter, quarterback Devin Kinchen took off for a rushing touchdown and a 7-3 Yellowjacket lead.
However, the Wildcats quickly find an answer. They score 21 unanswered points in the second quarter. Quarterback Max Gassiott had two rushing touchdowns and Tristan Rose had a rushing score of his own.
The Wildcats improve to 1-1 and the Yellowjackets fall to 1-1 on the season.
