This week is Louisiana Voter Registration Week; make sure you're registered to vote in November election

BATON ROUGE - Louisiana Voter Registration Week is underway, and the Secretary of State is encouraging residents to confirm their registration is current ahead of fall elections.
Local libraries are holding voter registration drives Monday through Friday. Residents can register or update their registration online or in person at the Registrar of Voters' office.
Anyone registering in person should bring valid identification that establishes identity, age and residency. That includes a current Louisiana driver's license, birth certificate or other documentation that reasonably establishes those details.
Those without a driver's license, special Louisiana ID or Social Security number can provide a picture ID, utility bill, payroll check or government document that shows their name and address.
Voter registration drives are also being held at East Baton Rouge Parish Public Library branches from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
