The daily chances for showers and storms will continue through Easter Weekend. A cold front will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures Sunday, but showers will linger.

Today & Tonight: Storms will be more numerous later today thanks to extra help from a weak atmospheric disturbance. While severe weather is unlikely, a few of these storms could dump some heavy rain and kick up gusty winds during the afternoon and evening. Since these cells will likely pop up fast, you’ll want to keep the Storm Station Weather App handy if you're out and about. Look for afternoon highs to top out right around 84 degrees. Overnight, rain will taper off, with lows near 70 degrees.

Up Next: Expect a "rinse and repeat" setup for Friday and Saturday, with warm air and pop-up afternoon storms remaining the main story. However, a major pattern shift arrives Saturday night into Easter Sunday as a cold front sweeps through. This front brings a line of showers and storms, likely peaking Saturday night. Because the exact timing is still a bit fluid, those showers could linger into your Easter morning or even the afternoon—so definitely have a "Plan B" ready if you have outdoor plans. You’ll feel a noticeable drop in temperatures behind the front, with Sunday struggling to even leave the mid-to-upper 60s.

The good news? Once that front clears out, the early part of next week looks quiet and refreshing. While Monday might stay a bit gray, we’re anticipating plenty of sunshine for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs comfortable in the 70s. The real treat will be the crisp mornings; with lows dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s, you can finally give the A/C a break and let some fresh air into the house.
