Addis man arrested for driving a boat at high speeds while impaired
IBERVILLE — An Addis man was arrested by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents recently for driving a boat while impaired in Iberville Parish.
Charles B. Day Jr., 52, was arrested for operating or driving a vessel while impaired, careless operation, operating a boat without boat numbers, failing to possess a vessel registration, improper running lights and failing to comply with personal flotation device (PFD) requirements.
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says that the investigation began after they received reports of a boating incident on Bayou Plaquemine on April 30 at about 2:15 a.m.
Day was found operating at high speeds while under the influence. Day was arrested on July 14.
