BATON ROUGE - An assistant attorney general who is investigating current and former East Baton Rouge Parish officials in a corruption probe has signed on to work at a local district attorney's office. 

Assistant AG Joseph LeBeau will be working as an assistant DA under 18th Judicial District Attorney Tony Clayton. 

Clayton told WBRZ that LeBeau will start with his office on Sept. 21. 

LeBeau was listed as a lead prosecutor in the August grand jury indictment of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools Superintendent LaMont Cole, along with Erica and Terral Jackson. 

The three were indicted for conspiracy to commit public bribery and money laundering. Cole faces an additional charge of malfeasance in office.
