BATON ROUGE — The Who Run It Alumni Basketball Tournament took place on Saturday at Scotlandville Magnet High School.

The tournament, hosted by the Office of Metro Councilman Anthony Kenney in collaboration with Who Run It Basketball, brought together six of Baton Rouge's high school basketball programs, including Scotlandville, Glen Oaks, Broadmoor, Catholic, Tara and Peabody high schools for a day of competition, school pride and community engagement. 

The tournament featured former college athletes, professional players and alumni to celebrate how the tradition of basketball has helped shape generations of leaders throughout Baton Rouge. 

"It's about bringing people together, celebrating the schools that helped shape us, and creating positive opportunities that strengthen our community," Councilman Anthony Kenney said. "Baton Rouge has produced incredible athletic talent, and this event gives alumni an opportunity to compete, reconnect, and inspire the next generation."
