ADDIS — A group of young adults stumbled across a body late Saturday night in Addis, according to the West Baton Rouge Coroner's Office. 

The group was riding side-by-sides between the levee and the river around 11 p.m. in a wooded area near Younger Drive when they came across the body of a young male, officials said. 

The person's name and cause of death have not been released at this time.

The circumstances surrounding the death may be related to a possible self-inflicted incident, according to the Addis Police Department. 

The incident remains under investigation.
