BATON ROUGE — On Saturday, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System is hosting Falling into Resources, a free community resource fair to help families get ready for the new school year.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Inspiration Center on Winbourne Avenue.

Families can meet with local organizations, learn about programs and services and pick up resources for students. Groups like Big Buddy, the Boys & Girls Club, tutoring services and others will be there.

The fair is open to all EBR Schools families. 

On Thursday, Councilwoman Twahna P. Harris and EBR School District's Marlon Cousin visited WBRZ to discuss the event.
