LOS ANGELES (AP) — The modern voice of Looney Tunes has died.

Eric Bauza was the award-winning performer whose 400 voice acting credits include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and many more characters. His family said he died suddenly late Sunday.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported that he died at his home from hypertensive cardiovascular disease at the age of 46.

Bauza's career gave voice to beloved Looney Tunes characters in “Puss in Boots,” “Muppet Babies,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and countless others.

The Emmy Award winner also pushed for the release of this year's “Coyote vs. Acme,” which made more than $100 million worldwide at the box office.
