ICE officer arrested after allegedly entering woman's Covington apartment without permission
COVINGTON — A federal officer employed at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Oakdale was arrested on Friday after allegedly entering an ex-girlfriend's apartment in Covington without permission.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, 58-year-old Thomas Bailey of Lecompte was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

“Regardless of where you work or what position you hold, the law applies equally to everyone,” Sheriff Bret Ibert said. “When someone enters another person’s residence without permission, we are going to investigate the circumstances and take the appropriate action based on the facts of the case.”
