GONZALES — The Arc of East Ascension hosted its sixth annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday evening, bringing local families together for an inclusive, drive-thru Halloween celebration.

Participating local businesses lined up in the non-profit's parking lot to hand out candy to nearly 50 cars that pulled through the event.

Organizers emphasized that making the drive-thru accessible for children of all abilities was a top priority, ensuring every child in Ascension Parish could safely enjoy the holiday festivities.
