BATON ROUGE - A group celebrating locs and natural hair hosted its third annual Locteenth Celebration on Sunday. 

The family-friendly event brings together vendors, live entertainment, food and community conversations. 

"The Locteenth is a celebration of our culture, a celebration of the locs in the natural hair community, so basically bringing the love of locs and our freedom together," organizers said. 

The event ran from 1 - 6 p.m. at the Melange Center on Florida Boulevard.
