POINTE COUPEE — A longtime Pointe Coupee Parish schools employee was honored on Monday, her 80th birthday.

Judy LeBlanc began her career with the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board in 1965. Her first assignment was at Upper Pointe Coupee. She has since served the district in numerous roles over the decades.

"Most of you were not even born when I started," LeBlanc said.

Today, she continues working as an administrative assistant in Human Resources, serving alongside Natalie Aguillard, director of Human Resources.
