Proposed deal between Jamaica, Ghana would go through Gramercy refinery
GRAMERCY — Aluminum industry information platform AL Circle says that a potential deal between Jamaica and Ghana would go through Louisiana.
Jamaican bauxite would be processed into alumina at the Atlantic Alumina Company refinery in Gramercy.
The alumina would then go to Ghana for use in its aluminum industry.
