ST. GEORGE — St. George residents got a look at the final draft of the city's first-ever master plan Monday night.

The planning document, called the "St. George 2050 Comprehensive Plan," was presented to the public, with many attendees pointing to drainage improvements and upgrades to Siegen Lane as highlights of the proposal.

Resident Paige Corcoran said she started attending meetings last year when the plan was first being developed and is happy to see the finished product.

"I'm hoping people will be pleased with the final plan," Corcoran said. "You can see the new things they've done for St. George already. I mean, the new landscaping; you can see they cleaned out some of the drainage. I mean those were huge issues before."

The city council and planning and zoning commission will have final approval of the plan.
