Village of Tangipahoa under a boil advisory after main water line damaged
TANGIPAHOA – AT&T workers reportedly damaged a main water line in the Village of Tangipahoa, along North Rainey Street, impacting water in the community, officials said.
Village officials said customers in the affected area may experience low water pressure or loss of water.
Once water is restored, residents in the area are advised to boil their water at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food until further notice.
Village officials say they will provide and update once the advisory has been lifted.
