BRFD: Vacant Laurel Street house catches fire early Tuesday morning
BATON ROUGE — A vacant house along Laurel Street caught fire early Tuesday morning, Baton Rouge Fire officials said.
The fire near the intersection of Laurel and North 26th streets was first reported around 3:30 a.m., with BRFD units responding shortly after.
Firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, but were able to bring the fire under control by 4 a.m.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
