BATON ROUGE — Holly and Smith Architects expanded its presence in Louisiana on Tuesday with the opening of a new office in Baton Rouge. 

The new location provides an additional home base for the firm, which already has offices in Hammond, New Orleans and Lafayette, and strengthens its connection to clients, partners and projects throughout the region. 

“We’ve been working in Baton Rouge and the Capital Region for many years, so opening an office here is really an extension of relationships we’ve already built,” said Rohit Sood, AIA, Principal Architect and Director of Sustainability.

The firm has a history of working throughout the capital region with projects including the Southern University Lab School, ongoing work on Southern's campus, the Claiborne State Office Building, State Space Allocation Programming and the Zeta Tau Alpha house at LSU.
