BAKER — The Lane Regional Medical Center announced a new medical facility on Friday, planned for a location along Groom Road in Baker. 

The new clinic, located at 6420 Groom Road, is scheduled to open in early November, with the practice being led by Dr. Erica Palin, providing comprehensive healthcare services for patients of all ages throughout Baker and north Baton Rouge.

Services will include preventive care, chronic disease management and treatment for acute illnesses. 

“Access to quality healthcare should never be determined by your ZIP code,” said Councilman Anthony Kenney Jr. “This investment means more families will have access to essential healthcare services right here in their own community.”
