Levy Brunette joined the WBRZ News 2 team as a Multimedia Journalist in 2026 after earning his Master’s degree in Journalism from Quinnipiac University. A Connecticut native, Levy spent years serving in the United States Navy prior to his news career—an experience that deepened his dedication to public service and community engagement.

Levy believes great journalism is built on earning trust through thoughtful, authentic storytelling. He is thrilled to call Baton Rouge home, eager to explore Louisiana, and honored to share the stories that matter most to the local community. Outside the newsroom, Levy enjoys spending time outdoors and picking up a good book.
