DENHAM SPRINGS - A Russian national was arrested after deputies found almost 800 pounds of methamphetamine in a tractor trailer, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said.

Officials said they conducted a traffic stop with an 18-wheeler on I-12 eastbound. The driver was identified as Anton Vitalyevich Rakov, "a deportable Russian [national]," officials said.

Deputies seized 789 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in the trailer. Rakov is in ICE custody, officials say.
