LIVONIA — A Pointe Coupee Parish School Resource Officer at Livonia High School removed an alligator from campus, deputies said Friday.

The gator was found on campus and quickly removed by Deputy Michael Murphy.

According to the sheriff's office, "no students were harmed, no teachers were bitten, and the alligator was safely removed."
