Mrs. Louisiana heads to Las Vegas to represent state at Mrs. America Pageant
BATON ROUGE — Next week is the Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas, and Mrs. Louisiana is competing for the 2026 crown.
The pageant is at the Westgate Resort from Aug. 25 to Sept. 3.
This year, Shamerick Simoneaux is representing Louisiana. Simoneaux currently holds the title of Mrs. Louisiana.
Simoneaux stopped by WBRZ to discuss preparations for the pageant with Mia Monet.

"It takes a village to do pageantry," Simoneaux said, noting that her family is the foundation of what she does.
